Professor Ruan Xinbo from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics led a delegation of teachers and students to visit Chipown. They conducted exchanges and discussions on "Power Architecture Innovation and Integration", focusing on key directions such as soft-switching control technology for switching converters, power ALL-IN-ONE integration technology, and interdisciplinary research in microelectronics and power electronics. They jointly discussed the innovative development and win-win cooperation in the field of power architecture.


Dr. Yi Yangbo, the CEO of Chipown, warmly welcomed the visit of the South China Airlines' student team. He shared the company's 20-year development philosophy, introduced the technical accumulation the enterprise has made over many years in the field of power architecture innovation and integration, as well as the latest application trends of AI in the enterprise. He also discussed the methods of integrating industry, academia and research, and encouraged young talents to make good use of AI to boldly lead innovation. Dr. Yi expressed his sincere gratitude to South China Airlines for its support to Chipown.

Professor Ruan Xinbo of Nanjing University reviewed the in-depth cooperation between the two sides over the past many years, highlighting the cross-disciplinary cooperation achievements from architectural innovation to chip integration on the all-domain soft-switching megahertz FSBB+DCX controller. He pointed out that this cooperation "solved real problems and achieved real applications". And he also shared the latest progress and achievements of Nanjing University's cooperation with enterprises with everyone.

At the exchange meeting, the expert team from Chipown and the students of Nanjing Aviation University engaged in in-depth academic exchanges. The representatives of Nanjing Aviation University successively presented the latest research results of two topics: "Symmetrical Control Method for Phase-Locked Loop and Power Loop of Grid-Connected Inverter" and "All-Range Non-Radial PWM Soft Switching Converter". The participants at the meeting conducted detailed discussions on the feasibility of the engineering implementation of the research results, and fully exchanged technical ideas and practical experiences.

Dr. Li Haosen, the CTO of Chipown, based on the evolution of the power semiconductor industry, deeply analyzed the technological development path of enterprises centered on system-level integration, as well as how to build differentiated technical barriers. The core technical achievements he shared, such as the ALL-IN-ONE half-bridge control chip and the GHz DCX controller that supports lossless driving, can continuously reduce the volume of module power supplies by more than 50%. This technological breakthrough sparked intense discussions among the teachers and students of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and the on-site communication atmosphere was very lively.

This exchange has laid a solid foundation for further deepening cooperation between the two parties. Chipown and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics will continue to promote in-depth cooperation in technological research and development, technology transfer, and joint talent cultivation. Together, they will tackle technical challenges and jointly contribute to China's independent innovation and industrial upgrading in the field of power semiconductors.
